The Beit Alpha cucumber grows approximately 30-45cm long. It grows equally well on the ground or on a trellis. It originated in the Middle East area.

Pickled Beit Alpha cucumbers are great for cooking and pickling and slicing raw. They have a blocky shape, good flavour with mild taste. They has a strong firm but thin skin which can be digested easily.
The seeds should be sown 1-1.5cm deep 40-50cm apart in rows 1-1.5m apart.
Sow the seeds from October to January in Cool and Temperate areas from August to March in the Subtropics and March to September in the Tropic
