A large, rounded crown with broad, grey-green leaves and wonderfully prolific, cream flowers distinguishes this evergreen tree.
The bark is quite distinctive, being scaly grey at the base becoming mottled grey, pink and cream higher up.
The flowers are very nectar laden and attract birds in large numbers.
If grown in rocky soils it will produce a stunted contorted shape.
