Has a typical fern-like appearance with many feathery fronds produced in clumps from the base.
Can be terrestrial or epiphytic depending on how it is cultivated from propagation.
Older fronds produce small plantlets from their prolific buds, which can be used to easily propagate this plant.
With very feathery foliage and dense habit it is an excellent plant for indoors and cool moist spots in the garden.
