Crinum powelii or the Cape Lily is a herbaceous perennial with long, thick leathery leaves emerging from a long bulb neck.
Pale pink, sweetly scented flowers are borne on stout erect stems up to 1 metre tall.
The foliage dies off during late summer while the plant is still in full flower.
A lovely cottage garden plant for accent, summer colour and perfume.
