Gardenia augusta 'Radicans' is a dwarf form it tends not to grow much taller than 500mm but will spread out to 1.5m.
It can be used as groundcover in area that are fairly sheltered.
It has deep green leaves and highly fragrant, double, white or cream flowers that turn yellow as they age.
This is a cottage garden type plant that likes humidity and can be grown in hot houses in colder climates.
Easy to propagate from cuttings in summer - but frost tender.
