Anisodontea capensis is an erect perennial from South Africa with straggly branches and small, dark green, hairy leaves.
This perennial flowers profusely, bearing pink, cup-shaped flowers with visible dark pink veins that look remarkably like small Hibiscus.
Because this plant produces sparse leaves, the flowers look quite striking with little foliage background.
They go well in Mediterranean style gardens and in pots on patios where they will stand tall to show off their colourful flowers.
