Evergreen tree with widely spreading branches and slender leaves. It bears magnificent, honey golden clusters of flowers on the end of the branches in December/January.
This plant grows as a hemi-parasite that attaches itself to the roots of other plants like grasses.
Despite its conspicuous attractions, it is not often cultivated due to the difficulty in propagation.
As a result plants are rarely available through nurseries but there have been some reports of successful cultivation in Western Australia.
A member of the Mistletoe family.
