Acacia incurva is a small shrub growing to half a metre. It has an erect growth habit, tends to be multi-stemmed and can look rather messy.
It appears to be leafless and the branches covered with long downward facing hooks. The hooks are thin needle-like phyllodes, they are continuous with the branches and curve downwards.
During winter the sessile fluffy yellow globular flowers are borne the phyllode axils of the upper branches.
