Dracaena draco or the Dragon Tree is a very-slow growing tree with a thick trunk bearing a crown of stiff glaucous green leaves arranged in rosettes. With age it will develop a branching habit.
The long linear leaves have small spines along the margins.
Mature plants will produce panicles of greeny-yellow flowers that are followed by large orange fruits.
Each new branch takes 10 to 20 years to flower, it then branches again beneath the flowers.
