Veronica spicata is a frost-hardy perennial with erect, hairy, branching stems and short creeping rootstock.
They make an excellent ground cover or for spilling over rockeries, while their profuse flowering maker them an excellent addition to borders.
Flower spikes of pink, mauve or blue rise above a dense mat of dark green, narrow-toothed foliage.
These are hardy plants that are easy to grow, providing they get plenty of direct sun for at least half the day.
