Bassia scoparia or Summer Cypress is a small rounded, bushy plant with fine, bright green, delicate foliage that turns bight orange to brown in autumn - hence the name "Burning Bush".
They look a little like small conifers - hence the other name "Summer Cypress".
They make useful edging plants especially when planted en-masse.
They will tolerate salty, coatal air but not strong winds.
