Chamaecyparis lawsoniana, commonly known as the Port Orford Cedar is a majestic evergreen conifer of conical shape and rippling, bluish green foliage.
Often grown for sheltering stock on farms but more often grown in gardens with plenty of space they provide a towering elegance along with attractive foliage all year round.
This tree prefers a milder climate but does not like coastal exposure, salty or strong winds.
