Grevillea 'Poorinda Royal Mantle' is a hybrid between Grevillea laurifolia and G. willisii.
It is a low growing, prostrate, evergreen shrub that makes a great ground cover and spills attractively over low walls.
The leaves vary in shape some are lobed and others have smooth margins, they are medium green and quite leathery in texture.
The deep red flowers can be seen in late winter and spring in toothbrush type clusters at the end the short branchlets.
They prefer full sun but will tolerate shade. They are tolerant of frost and snow, humidity and once established drought.
Like all Grevillea they are not tolerant of Phosphorus.
