Feverfew is an attractive garden herb which produces yellow and white daisy flowers year round. These flowers attract beneficial predator insects such as Ladybugs, Lacewings & Hoverfly. It is perfect for mixed border and informal cottage style gardens.
For maximum benefit from this natural pest controller it is best planted as a companion plant in your herb and vegie gardens.
Growing to about 50cm tall this perennial needs moist soil & part shade.
Feverfew also has medicinal uses, 1 to 3 leaves per day has been said to relieve headaches & migraines. However, always check with a health provider first as some people are more sensitive to herbal treatments than others.
However they are not good as cut flower as they are not pleasantly fragrant.
