Geranium phaeum or Dusty Cranebill is an evergreen clump forming perennial often used as groundcover or along the edges of borders.
It has lobed, heart shaped and hairy mid green leaves that are sometimes streaked with purple marks.
The flowers are open faced and deep purple in colour with yellow centres and appear in late spring and early summer.
A good plant for damp, shady sites and is also frost hardy.
