A spreading, spindly shrub with a prostrate growth habit.
The leaves have a hairy texture and are a deep green, while the flowers are borne in spring and summer on terminal cymes and are star-shaped, some with blue with white edges. The cross star effect is very effective in flower beds.
This plant continues flowering over a long period so it is great for bringing that precious blue colour into your garden.
They go well edging borders, cascading over rocks, in gravel gardens or in pots and tubs.
