Hybrid Anemone is an evergreen, clump forming, perennial that spreads by stolons.
Low, clumps of irregularly lobed, dark green leaves form a dense, rich cover just above ground level.
From late summer to mid autumn, long flower stems are produced which stand well above the basal leaves.
Atop each stem stands an umbel of typical anemone flowers and small leaves.
These look spectacular blowing in the wind and make an important contribution to any mixed flower border.
