Actinidia kolomikta is a deciduous vine that produces lush colourful leaves that emerge a reddish green and age to dark green with pink or white blotches.
This climbing plant grows in a twining manner, but can also be left to form a mound on the ground if no support is supplied.
Although this plant is usually grown primarily for its foliage colour, it does flower, producing small white flowers that are faintly perfumed and female specimens will sometimes bear fruit if there’s a male nearby.
