Cheilanthes austrotenifolia is an Australian native fern with delicate, mid-green feathery leaves and contrasting glossy brown stems.
It has a lovely lacy appearance and can survive in little soil.
They will survive in dry area but do much better with regular moisture. They will grow in full sun and part shade but seem to do better when there is some shade during the day.
In their natural habitat they'll grow as an under storey plant and in rock crevices, so you can use these in the same manner in garden situations particularly in rockeries.
