Euphorbia mellifera or Honey Spurge is an evergreen shrub that grows as a small, rounded mound.
It bears upright stems with lance shaped leaves along their length.
Flattened heads of brown flowers (they're actually bracts) are borne at the ends of the stems, making them protrude from the mound of foliage.
The flowers are followed by warty fruits that are also an interesting feature of the shrub.
