An evergreen, clump forming perennial with dark green divided leaves that smell bad when crushed (as the common names suggest).
It produces dainty pendulous, cup-shaped flowers that are borne in elegant clusters in winter.
They are light green fringed with maroon.
They can multiply well from their creeping root system and provide welcome colour in late winter.
This is an attractive plant, so don't be put off by the stinky leaves.
