Cissus antartica is a fast growing climber that is grown for its rich shiny foliage and will grow well indoors and out.
It can be trained on a fence or trellis or left to scramble over rocks.
It will also grow quite happily inside with very little natural light providing the air is not too dry.
The leaves are a dark green colour with a serrated edge and it has red stem tendrils, dark purple to black berries and inconsequential barely noticeable green flowers.
