Chionodoxa luciliae or glory of the Snow are dwarf bulbous perennials with narrow strap leaves up to 8 cms long and very pretty star-shaped blue flowers with white centres that appear in early early spring, two to three per stem.
After flowering they become dormant for the rest of the year.
