Acacia ulicifolia or Prickly Moses is a medium size shrub with a dense prickly habit.
As with many Acacia species the leaves are flattened petioles or leaf stems know as phyllodes.
In this species the phyllodes are narrow, rigid and spine-like.
The flowers are white or cream fluffy and globular and found in clusters growing from the phyllode axil.
This is not be a popular choice of Acacia for most gardens as the flowers are not particularly showy and the leaves are so prickly.
Can be used as a hedge to isolate parts of the garden.
