Rosa moschata or the Musk Rose is a climber or rambler and originates from the Himalayas, producing clusters of very pretty white, fragrant flowers over long periods.
This medium-sized rambler has grey-green foliage and reaches around 3m in height after around 2-5 in cultivation.
In late summer through to early autumn large clusters of musk-scented, single, white flowers around 5cm across are produced with prominent bright yellow stamen, followed by orange to red hips.
Providing you have plenty of space these are excellent cottage garden plants - even better with an old brick wall to scramble over.
