Boronia gunnii or River Boronia have needle-like fragrant foliage and small pinky/white cup shaped flowers that exude a wonderful perfume that distinguishes this rather rare and vulnerable Boronia.
The flowers are open faced with four petals with yellow stamen and a red centre.
They make an attractive rounded bush which will be covered with flowers in late spring to early summer.
Not easily found for cultivation, they are mainly seen in Australian Botanic Gardens where there are many very healthy specimens.
