Ficus aspera 'Parcellii is a small tree with a dense rounded crown.
It has large very attractive large green leaves with mottled cream and white pattern.
It produces tiny flowers but these are not visible as they grow within the developing fruit.
The fruit are a pinkish to purple colour with green stripes, and grows clusters on short leafless branches from the trunk and main branches.
Like most Ficus the root system is extensive and quite invasive so plant away from buildings.
In cooler climates can be grown indoors as a houseplant or in a cool greenhouse with lots of sun.
When grown as house plants they tend not to produce flowers and fruit.
