Acacia denticulosa or the Sandpaper Wattle is an erect shrub that has the most amazing fluffy golden rod-shaped flowers during spring.
The branches and broadly elliptical phyllodes are sparse and not very attractive but the flowers are wonderful.
This plant grows best in the dry conditions of WA and doesn't do well in the more humid Eastern states of Australia.
