Acacia kettlewelliae pravissima is a large shrub with an open spreading growth habit.
It needs pruning after flowering to prevent it becoming rangy and messy looking.
The phyllodes are deep green in colour and elliptical in shape.
In mid to late spring racemes of fluffy yellow globe shaped flowers are borne from phyllodes axils along the branch tips.
