Cotyledon orbiculata or Pigs Ear is a fast-growing succulent that forms a low shrub and adds colour to the winter garden.
The freshly orange coloured flowers are campanulate (bell) in shape and attract plenty of bees and birds to your garden.
The silver-grey leaves are covered in a powdery white coating which assists in reflecting much of the sun's heat to prevent excessive water loss from the thick succulent leaves.
It is best suited to borders and rockeries where it provides texture and shape, but also goes well in pots on the patio.
An ideal plant for the water-wise gardener.
