Callistemon Rose Opal is a dwarf cultivar of Callistemon viminalis. It has upright bushy, dense shrub with slightly arching branches. The leaves are linear and deep green.
Long, deep pink/red bottle-brush flowers are produced throughout the year with the biggest display in spring. Flowers are good at attracting nectar feeding birds to your garden.
These plants are smaller than the parent plant so a good choice for smaller gardens where they can be used for hedging or as a feature plant.
Will grow well in both tropical and temperate regions. Tolerant of 2nd line salt, and will tolerate mild frosts.
