Salix exigua or the Coyote Willow is a shrub that forms a thicket of slender stems and narrow, lance-shaped, linear leaves that are silvery when young, later grey-green and can be up to 10cm long.
They tend to sucker naturally thereby forming clumps and will take around 5-10 years to reach their full potential.
These are good for informal, cottage and coastal gardens providing good contrasting foliage colour as a backdrop or screen.
