Echeveria secunda or the Blue Echeveria is an evergreen, rosette forming succulent with pale green to greyish blue, fleshy, spoon-shaped leaves that each feature a small point at the flat top/centre.
Leaf margins can also be lined with pink, helping to accentuate their wonderfully symmetrical shape.
In summer it produces upright stems around 30cms long bearing lantern shaped flowers that are often two tone or double coloured - usually red and yellow.
These are the perfect plant for Mediterranean style gardens, rockeries and especially pots and planters - thriving indoors or out.
An elegant and very self contained plant that is rightly very popular.
