Clerodendrum splendens or the Glory Tree is a and evergreen, woody stemmed twining plant that will grow up to 3 metres or more.
The foliage is rich green and oval to elliptic in shape that are markedly veined, while the flowers are spectacular - forming in panicles of deep scarlet flowers over summer.
The flowers are very good or attracting butterflies to your garden.
Best grown in warmer climates, they will survive as far south as Sydney provided it is kept sheltered and close to the coast so nightime temperatures do not drop too low. Much under 10C will not be well liked.
