Drimiopsis maculata is a shade loving, low growing plant that has oval shaped, spotted Leopard like leaves and produces little spikes with pretty greenish-white flowers atop.
It has a bulbous root system that typically goes dormant when conditions do not suit growing.
But in springtime it grows new leaves which are thick, almost succulent in style and feature dark green to brownish spots - hence the species name 'maculata'.
Can be grown in pots indoors, especially in lower light settings.
