Zami integrifolia is a low growing, attractive, shrubby cycad which creates a rounded clump form of rich green, multi-branched foliage. It doesn't have much of a trunk, rathermore subterranean stems.
These are hardy cycads being able to handle light and shade, heat and cold, while making a lovely rich green statement with its dense and interesting feathered foliage.
It will produces male and female cones on separate plants. The female cone are large and orange-browny colour and contain red seeds. The male cones are smaller, a duller colour and grow in clusters, these produce the pollen. The cones are produced in summer.
