Echeveria gigantea, as its name suggests, is a large/tall version of the popular Hen and Chickens succulent.
It has broad, open rosettes of of spoon-shaped leaves in shades of grey to grey/green and sometimes grey/pink as they age. These are waxy and can have a defined margin in contrasting reddish colour.
These grow on unbranched, thick stems which hold themselves aloft - unlike other Echeveria which sit much lower to the ground.
Flowers are rosy/red and appear from autumn through to winter.
