Hoya bella is an evergreen, woody trailing vine that has small, narrowly ovate, dark green, waxy leaves.
In summer it produces clusters of star shaped white flowers with striking red centres.
These are at their best in hanging baskets under tree canopies where they can also drape themselves over branches.
These plants do not handle cold, frost or drought very well and are best brought indoors over colder winters.
