Echinopsis spachiana, commonly known as the Golden Torch or Easter Lily Cactus, features cylindrical stems that can reach heights of up to 1.5 - 2.0 meters and 15-20 centimeters in diameter.
The stems are typically a vibrant green color and adorned with numerous ribbed sections lined with prominent areoles and stiff, very sharp spines.
As such care in needed to chose a suitable location to grow it to avoid injury to passing humans and pets.
They are naturally clumping and will eventually create a striking tableau of ten plus stems.
