Dracaena reflexa is a variable species most often seen as an indoor plant, though if grown outdoors they can reach up to 5m in height.
The foliage is arranged in whorls on the stem and growth tends to be fairly dense.
Best suited to humid, sub/tropical gardens there have been many cultivars created with the most popular tending to be the Variegated form that has stripy green and cream foliage and is strikingly attractive.
When grown indoors they have been shown to remove significant amounts of toxins from the air, which is perhaps why they are so popular.
Indoor plants like lots of bright but filtered light for best growth - they can handle less but tend to get a bit spindly.
