Telanthophora grandifolia -the Big Leaf Groundsel is a large shrub that can grow up to 6m. This is a plant that takes up a lot of room and is really not suitable for most gardens.
The long stems have few branches and large leaves growing at the branch tips. During late summer and autumn, huge corymbs of deep yellow daisy-like flowers appear at the branch tips - quite an amazing sight. Although they produce masses of seeds, these tend not to be a problem as they do not germinate easily.
