Cynoglossum amabile is a hardy annual or biennial border plant that has hairy, lance shaped leaves and produces cymes of funnel-shaped light-blue flowers throughout summer and into autumn.
Best suited as an ornamental in borders and pots, it is closely related to the Forget-Me-Not - which it resembles and can be confused with.
It has been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
This is a cooler climate ornamental plant that will suffer in some of Australia's warmer climate zones when it may cease blooming during hot periods.
It doesn't however like temperatures below 5C.
