Liriope muscari is a clump forming evergreen perennial with grassy, strap like foliage and produces erect, wiry spikes of lilac coloured flowers in summer and autumn.
Good for edging borders as it does not creep naturally.
Varieties include:
"Munroe White" has spikes of white coloured flowers with green stems in summer and autumn.
Variegata has spikes of lilac flowers and a wide strip of pale yellow along the margin of the leaves.
