An evergreen shrub grown for its star shaped cup flowers of pink and white.
Branches are thin and wiry and will scramble amongst other plants if left alone.
Leaves are small and dark green becoming reddish in winter.
It prefers a mild climate as per its natural habitat in the heaths and forests of the coast and tablelands of Eastern Australia.
