For one month each spring these magical gardens come alive with tulips, cherry blossom, forsythia and many other spring flowers.
The gardens are in a hidden valley so the walk from the car park to the main entrance gives visitors no idea of the wonderful surprise that awaits them.
The easy-walk gravel paths are edged with broad beds that are creatively planted with a range of spring flowers, particularly tulips. All are in a superb condition and labelled for those of us who would like to find some for our own garden.
Tulip Top Gardens have many spring blossom trees and under many of these are large beds full of more wonderful spring flowers. This really is tulip heaven!
There is so much to take in that it is worth stopping for refreshments in the large cafe tent and at weekends visitors can sit on the grass or at the table and chair to listen the live bands.
These are truly wonderful gardens - Australia's very own little Keukenhorf. Don't miss them.

Refreshments There is a refreshment marquee that offers hot and cold drinks and food.
Live Bands At weekends bands add to the carnival atmosphere.
Picnic Area Visitors are welcome to picnic on the lawns in the shade of the trees.
Disabled Access There is disabled parking at the Lower Garden entry.
The gardens are just off the Federal Highway. If you are travelling from Canberra they are on the left past a short way past the overhead bridge for the Sutton, Queanbeyan and Gundaroo turn off.
You cannot see the gardens from the road but there is a big sign and lots of flags at the turn off.
Unfortunately there is not bus service from Canberra. For those without their own transport taxis are the only option.
