The gardens at Tatton Park were established over 200 years ago. Today it is a wonderful example of how an Edwardian garden would have looked and one of the UK's most complete historic estates.
The gardens have many different areas for visitors to explore, Walled Kitchen Garden, Japanese Garden, Maze, the newly restored conservatory, the formal gardens and topiary. Visitors in spring are treated to a wonderfully colourful display of rhododendrons and azaleas.
The arboretum contains many rare conifers, there are tours of the arboretum most 2nd and 4th Sundays between the 4th Sundays in March and September. (check to avoid disappointment tel: 01625 374400)
