The Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens is an educational and research institution established by Henry E. Huntington in San Marino.
The gardens cover 207 acres with over 50 percent landscaped and open to visitors. The garden contains over 14,000 plant varieties and these are displayed in various themed gardens including, an Australian Garden with over 100 eucalyptus species, Camelia Garden, Chinese Garden, Desert Garden, Japanese Garden, Jungle Garden, Rose Garden, Herb Garden, Shakespeare Garden, Lily ponds and a Conservatory.
The garden offers free tours with general admission or membership. Tours offered Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between noon and 2 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Times vary, please check in at the entrance kiosk on arrival for the day's schedule of garden tours.
Free tours may not be reserved in advance. Tours not available on Tuesdays and Free Days.

Restaurant The Rose Garden Tea Room located as the name suggests overlooking the wonderful rose gardens has a set price buffet that includes a selection of savoury and sweet finger foods. For those wanting less to eat or just a coffee The Cafe overlooking the Shakespeare Garden is a great place to visit.
Disabled VisitorsAll buildings and most garden areas are accessible to visitors with mobility impairments. Wheelchairs are available for loan at the entrance arcade; please call 626-405-2125 to reserve in advance. Mobility impaired visitors are welcome to bring their own electric scooters or wheelchairs, or take advantage of the Special Assistance Vehicle
The Huntington is located near Pasadena in the city of San Marino, approximately twelve miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles.
The Huntington has two entrance gates: one on Oxford Road, and a second entrance at Allen Avenue, just south of California Boulevard.
