The Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle comprises of 12 hectares of eighty natural and cultivated landscapes nestled into a natural amphitheatre, a wide array of themed gardens, and numerous Artist Pavilions and Interactive Stations. It is recommended that visitors allow a minimum of 2h 30mins, to explore the gardens fully can take up to 6 hours.

Restaurant There are two options: The Schlossgarten Restaurant that serves regional and mediterranean cuisine; The Palm Cafe on the Lily Pond serves snacks, coffee and soft drinks.
Disabled Visitors Most paths are suitable for wheelchairs, because of the slopes of the gardens it is recommended that people in wheelchair have someone to assist them. The restaurant and all restrooms are wheelchair friendly.
Manual and electric wheelchairs are available free of charge at the ticket desk, with the deposit of a valid ID card. Phone reservations are recommended, and can be arranged by calling (+39) 0473 258819.
The Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle are located just outside of Merano (Meran) in the formerly North of Italy in the Austrian province of Südtirol or South Tyrol – called Alto Adige in Italian.
