Situated between Nice and Monaco, this rose-coloured villa and its surrounding gardens are located on a rocky promontory with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean on both sides.
The house has an Italian Renaissance look similar to palaces in Venice and Florence; it is best appreciated from a distance.
The Garden is divided into nine themed gardens which vary in size and style.
The French Garden has been designed in a formal manner with well manicured gardens and flower beds on either side of the central path and pond. Musical fountains spring from the large pond like a grand aquatic ballet every 20mins.
Looking across the French Garden from the villa towards the Temple of Love, the Mediterranean can be seen on either side - quite magnificent - do people ever get fed up with this view ?!
Other themed gardens include: a Japanese garden , an Exotic Garden, a Florentine garden, a Spanish garden, a stone garden, a rose garden and a garden of Sèvres.
