The dainty clusters of carmine-rose flowers are carried in spirals on an erect, hairy stem, well above the dense rosettes of attractive, mid-green foliage. Flowers in Late winter early spring.
For best results sow in seeds trays and cover with glass until the seeds have germinated.
Transplant seedlings about 15cm apart in a partially shaded location. Water regularly and feed as per instructions on the fertiliser label. Flowers in about 28 weeks. Dead head flowers to encourage new blooms.
